This workshop walks you step by step through the process of preparing to submit work to national calls for entry. 

Starting with an overview of what Calls For Entries are, to understanding the different types of calls, to preparing your work for submission, this intensive workshop will give you all the information you need to start making applications that suit your particular work and goals.

About Your Instructor

Jeannette L Herrera is a self-taught artist of Peruvian descent. Her narrative is drawn from Latin American folklore, and religious iconography intertwined with contemporary popular culture, namely tattoo art. She became a full-time artist in 2010 and has representation through Alida Anderson Arts and Keep Contemporary. You can find her work in the permanent collection of The Cheech in Riverside, Ca. She shows in galleries and museums nationwide. She resides and continues to create in North Texas.
